1st Corinthians The 13th chapter with 13 verses

I love every word of the Bible because it is God’s set apart word

That will forever be true,

Its unchanging Just like Gods Character.

One of my favorite portions in the Holy Word of God is

1st Corinthians 13 the whole chapter!

I love it because the Apostle Paul is breaking down the meaning of love, which is the entire purpose of life itself.

As Gods Word says in

1st John 4:8Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

1st Corinthians 13:1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal

Even If we believers speak with great eloquence and have speech peppered with lofty language, if we lack consideration, we are nothing more than noise makers with asymmetrical perspectives.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And If someone has the ability to predict the future and understand all the hidden things of this universe, while also possessing the power to interpret all information to the point where they can cause the highest peaks on earth to be brought low, that logic is only valuable if carried out with love, because without love, existence is meaningless.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Giving alms is important and self-sacrifice is honorable, but remember Hosea 6:6 and Matthew 9:13, God desires mercy over sacrifice, because mercy honors love.
