I have to listen to my emotions
For if they are ignored
They become like a human toddler throwing tantrums
Their voice becomes louder
They bang their fists on the walls of my heart
They flood my mind with images of neglect
They do not want to live unexpressed
A lack of expression is like emotional unemployment
If you are human
If you understand humans
Then you know what they are like
When ignored
Ingo-red is an ugly shade
Like a message left on read
Igno-red never turns the page
